Inspection. Sorting & Packaging for the Future at Detroit 2019

Fastener Fair USA is a “must attend” event. All in one place and within 2 days, attendees will be invited to discover the latest Fastener World Novelty.
Dimac with their US partner Angor-Intools will be at the Expo – Stand 401 – to display their very latest technologies and products, plus their experts will be on hand to discuss how they can participate in cost reduction within supply chains, and how they can offer new, alternative, cost-effective solutions.
Dimac will exhibit their best-seller equipment MCV1 series, the high productivity index and continuous rotary table machine which success is particularly sealed in US.
It inspects a wide spectrum of cold forged and turned parts by high-resolution optics and advanced NDT device, guaranteeing to obtain all the indicators to approach 100% OK parts.
“MCV1 marked a turning point on Quality Control scenario 20 years ago,” Massimo Agrati – GM at Dimac – says “bringing Dimac to be distinguished for efficiency and high technology. The version that will be shown in Detroit will be clothed newly, with performances and facilities further increased”.
The MCV1 series, integrated with the New technologies’ state-of-the-art – benefiting from IoT and big data analytics – will be exhibited with Angor-Intools’ innovative belt loaders, conveyors and packing equipment.
Among them AVBC-BOX, a next-generation automatic boxing machine developed in cooperation with Dimac to pack high volumes of fasteners in boxes or bags, speeding up the whole factory automation and logistics.
“Visitors will personally prove our systems that, as well as Dimac machines, are smart, ergonomics, easy-to-use and effective” Andrew Dreger from Angor- Intools reports.
Re-styled & Smart MCV5
Dimac is planning a massive product onslaught in the next few years, starting with the launch of the MCV5 new generation series, and Detroit Show will be the occasion to see it at work.
Complying with the latest IoT, Automation and safety standards, this model combines the top of electronics and mechanics with the best-in-class vision system.
Mr. Dreger lists some of the enhancements as to the original series: “MCV5 new model features the latest eco-efficiency technology in the whole electrical equipment. Dimac R&D staff renovated its design, further improving lights, amplifiers and controller. Even the sound-absorption has been implemented”.
Mr. Agrati continues: “The upgrade concerns the sensors too. We integrated the vision system with a new laser unit and high-res 5 Mpix – 2/3'' cameras with collimated tele-centric lenses and illuminators, mounted on a high-precision engineering mechanics. All that is integrated with the new MCVx Vision Software, providing improved quality control performances, both on standard and complex geometries”.
Both companies will meet customers and attendees at the Cobo Center on May 22nd-23rd , standing as reliable partners capable of looking forward, always targeting to meet – possibly exceeding – the Global Fastener OEMs’ needs.
