Future-Focused Innovation at FF France 2018

Istanbul, Cleveland, Düsseldorf, Milan, Las Vegas. And recently Paris.

Dimac 2018 trade fairs tour for fastener & fixing technology has been successfully “sold out” everywhere, confirming the international appreciation for the Italian company recognized as one of the most reliable high-tech 100% inspection & sorting benchmark for the Fastener B2B.

At FF France, the top fastener specialists – more specifically from the automotive industry – had a chance to look at Dimac latest high-end, Best-in-the-Business and smart solutions ready to be launched in 2019.

Dimac Remote Assistance powered by Acty© has aroused a great interest during every presentation. This is the new app improving the suppleness and efficiency of the servicing, simplifying it with the Augmented Reality state-of-the-art.

Attendees could experience its features at the Dimac booth: using their own tablets and smartphones, taking part in the assistance simulations from start to finish.

Users had the chance to see how Dimac assistance takes charge of the call, activating the vision remote service by the camera device and using instant messaging, filming and snapshotting, sharing images and texts.

One of the aspects more impressing of the app was the easiness to define specific needs and issues in a very short time, just like it would happen during an on-site assistance.

Quoting from a customer’s words: “This app enhances the whole servicing and the advantages would be a lot for us. For instance, we would save money and time for the machines maintenance and the spare parts shipment”.

Very positive comments for the latest Dimac Integrated Ecosystem too and the multifunctionality of the upgraded suite of software packages.

To name but a few, the latest MCVx optical system release, the predictive forming control tool Volume Plus, the program to manage the machines on the Net MCVx Remote and MCV_ERP, for the collection and retrieval of the sorting cycles statistical data, real-time available to the customer’s ERP management information system.

During the Expo, GM Massimo Agrati has also announced new investments to implement two among the high-performance rotary table-based series: Dimac MCV4 and MCV0, emphasizing that the latter model will be further enhanced to control the micro-screws used for the hybrid vehicles assembly.

Next year’s expectations are high for SPC-LAB and SPC-ROBOT too, unconventional equipment significantly shortening the quality process chain, reducing variation, defects and cycle times.

Keeping on pursuing the Zero-Defect target, Dimac is one among few in the fastener segment condensing in an all-in-one range top quality mechanics, electronics and software with New Technologies.

The aim is to offer to their customers no less than the best of inspection & sorting technology.
