The Brazilian subsidiary from Böllhoff Group started a high resistance pressable nuts production, items to meet demands from automotive, agricultural and electric energy sectors.

Specialized in fastening technology and assembly systems, the Böllhoff Brazil informed that the new local production is composed by items called KAPTI NUT®. The new line allows fixing pre-drilled thin metal sheets, resulting in the creation of a threaded fastening element for the application of a third component.

The clamping system is specially designed to suit multiple drilling of strip and thin sheet metal, and can be applied to materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.

"The investment to that production line aims to benefit the local and export market, with faster service, competitive prices and the offer of a product manufactured with the global quality standard of the Böllhoff Group", highlights the CEO of Brasil unit, Flavio Silva. "These are highly resistant pressable nuts, which can be applied via a mechanical process or also through automation possibilities that add more practicality and increase the productivity of our customers".

Brazil is one of the key markets for the Group. Currently, the local unit has sold an average of more than 620 million fasteners per year, with around 30% exported to France, Germany, USA, Italy, Poland, Mexico, Japan, Argentina, Chile, and Colombia. Among the other industries served by the company with Brazilian production are construction, aerospace, machinery, and equipment.
