NOF SA Industrial Plant /Haroldo Chieza and Kai-Uwe Hirschfelder

The anticorrosion division of NOF Corporation, Japan, the NOF Metal Coatings Group has named a new executive to drive his Brazilian unit.

Installed in Diadema City, São Paulo State, Brazil, the NOF Metal Coatings South America has locally a research & develop centre plus an industrial plant, producing and providing several customers in Brazil and all the South America, during decades.  Since April last, this subsidiary is under manage Mr. Kai-Uwe Hirschfelder, the new CEO.

German, since a boy Kai-Uwe divide his activities – living, studying, and working – between Brazil and Germany, speaking so well the Portuguese language. The Porsche is among his long professional trajectory. At his side, the executive has Mr. Haroldo Chieza, as the Commercial and New Business Management. Chieza was the last 14 years working to Norsk Hydro ASA.

“With blood in the eyes and green products in hands”, the new directors promise a great improvement and expansion his surface treatment product lines, not just in automotive industry, a sector that has a solid traditional, but improve a lot the business in several sectors, as generation and transmission of energy from hydroelectric, solar and wind sources, construction, railroad and many other.

“While Mr. Chieza operate with focus on relation with market and searching and develop new business, we are modernizing all structure administration and productive, to put this unit at the global highest level. Is important we highlight our action as ecologically production correct, in which we are a global reference, using as solvent water”, said Kay-Uwe.
