According to data from the Customs, China’s fastener exports reached 2,355,751 tons with value of 4,019,949,327 US dollars during the months from January to October in 2017. The top five fastener export destinations for mainland China were US, Japan, Russia, Germany and South Korea.
Zhejiang was the largest exporting province with the fastener export value of 2.0 billion US dollars in the first ten months. The other top exporting provinces were Jiangsu (500 million US dollars), Guangdong (424 million US dollars), Shandong (190 million US dollars) and Shanghai city (394 million US dollars).
During January to October, China’s fastener imports totaled 263,684 tons with the value of 2,533,248,359 US dollars. The top five fastener import origins for mainland China were Japan, Germany, US, Chinese Taiwan, South Korea.
Shanghai city was the largest importer in China with the fastener import value of 501 million US dollars. The top importing provinces were Jiangsu (437 million US dollars), Guangdong (389 million US dollars), Liaoning (156 million US dollars) and Beijing city (174 million US dollars).
